Blog Hop- 3 Things About Me...

Three Things You Didn't Know About Me...

1. I spent my entire junior year in college as an exchange student living with a host family in Granada, Spain, so I am bilingual, and I speak Spanish with Isabelle Kate much of the time. When the academic year was over, my best friend and I spent 6 amazing, terrifying, awesome, life-changing, adrenaline-pumping, tiring weeks hopping from train to train throughout all of Europe with nothing but the packs on our backs. (Sorry, Mom and Dad- now I really get what all the worry was about)

2. I love to bake and get really creative with toppings and garnishes, so I often receive compliments on my "fancy" cheesecakes (darn, I can't find a photo), coffee cakes, frosted cakes, cookies and the like....but I cannot make a pie to SAVE MY LIFE!!!!


3. I was classically trained on the piano as a youth, and have always been singing, alone and in groups, and writing songs; my earliest memory is of me using the long vacuum cleaner wand as a microphone at age 2, then my grandmother's cane, until virtually anything was fair game to be employed as a mike!! (There are pictures to prove it- I just don't have them here.) Yup, to this day I secretly dream of being a Christian rock star Mama...maybe when the kiddos are a bit older...
