For the first time ever, I, Bill (her husband) am hijacking her blog for the morning. I am a bit nervous doing so as this is the first time I have ever posted anything online. (I am sure there is a punchline in there somewhere... ha)
At any rate, today is Valentine's Day. I hope it does not seem too "out of the ordinary" to let all you in Blog-land know, how much Bethany amazes me.
We have been working on projects around the house (including painting) and have run across issues with paint color, paint not adhering, marks on walls, etc. to the point that it has been a frustrating couple of weeks. I had called Bethany on my way to tell her that when I got home I would help "roller" the hallway and kitchen, but when i got home, it was COMPLETELY DONE. The room looks great and I am sure there will be pics to follow...
She does stuff like this all the time that she may think goes unnoticed, but in reality, it really does not. Yesterday, she was able to paint, plan dinner, talk to me, get to the grocery store and a slew of other things while having Caleb home sick from school (well he was "SICK"). She has even planned a special Valentine's Day breakfast and dinner for the family, among other things.
Sometimes, I recognize, that I am able to "coast" through life because of all the little things that she does (getting birthday gifts for family members, doing Christmas cards on her own, etc). And I will admit, sometimes I get lazy. I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank her and let her know how much she means to me. I love you, Bethany.
