Happy Birthday Jonah Gabriel!!!!!!
I snapped this picture before school this morning...notice anything different about the birthday boy? Like, oh I don't know, a CAST! Yup, Jonah broke his wrist again, just in time for the pool party we've been excitedly planning. Sigh.
This has been quite a year for my oldest middle boy ~ adjusting to braces (and his smile looks SO good!); pushing past nerves and trying out for a part in the school play (and getting a singing part!); making plans to attend sleep-away camp this summer; earning the privilege of playing in both the orchestra and the band (students have to do excellent work in class in order to do both); and something I value beyond words, a growing compassion and empathy I see in his little heart, a deep desire to comfort those who are hurting.
Jonah, your Dad and I are so excited about all that the Lord has in store for you, and we are so thankful for your life! Happy Birthday, Son! We love you more than we can say!
